Pastor Mark Lenderman was saved at the age of 13. He attended Gospel Light Christian School from kindergarten through twelfth grade in Walkertown, NC. As a teen, Mark was involved in the youth ministry of Gospel Light Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Steve Roberson. After graduating from high school, Mark attended Crown College and received his bachelorís degree in Biblical studies with a proficiency in youth ministries.
Since his graduation from Crown College in 1999, Pastor Mark ministered as youth pastor at Temple Baptist Church in Kingsport, TN for four years. Following his time in TN, the Lord led him to Trinity Baptist Church in Asheville, NC where he served under the leadership of Dr. Ralph Sexton, Jr. as Associate Pastor and youth pastor for seven and one half years.
In 2011, Pastor Mark accepted the unanimous call to be the Senior Pastor of Berea Baptist Church in Asheville, NC. In November 2012 the Lord led Pastor Mark and his family to join the staff of Peace Haven Baptist Church where he currently serves as the Student Life Development Pastor. He has earned both his Master of Ministry Degree in Pastoral Leadership and a Doctor of Christian Education Degree. He enjoys preaching revival meetings and youth conferences around the country.
Pastor Mark and his wife, Tracy, were married on June 29, 2002. They have one son named Titus and two daughters, Leah and Julia.
